It’s Time For Working Moms to Go Freelance

Did you really want to go back to work this week? Did you really want to drag the kids out of bed yet another morning to drag them to daycare? Did you dread the very thought of it? Then maybe it is time for you to consider quitting your current job to go freelance! Sound like irrational mommy talk? Not reallyyou just need a game plan.
Several years back I decided to quit my job and do just that. I found some part-time freelance work late in July and decided that I would quit my 60-80 hour a week full-time job. I was tired of the crazy schedule and I figured that we could live on that part-time income for a while until I found another job (I was working so much…how would I even have time to look for a new job?)
Then something amazing happened. Within eighteen months, I was working as a freelance professional only two days a week and making more money than I did working (more than) full-time before!
This could happen to anyone. The internet has made it easier than ever. Once I was not working for someone else, I was able to establish my own work. Instead of making my salary, I now made what my boss used to charge other people for my work. Once customers see the quality of the work that you can do, more and more work will become available.
Need a place to start? That is the easiest part. Just find a great freelance work site, and you could even started the very same day. For less than the price of your take-out lunch, you could be one step closer to a new life. You can search hundreds of available jobs, and work toward financial freedom from your boss!
The best part is that youll be one step closer to quitting and becoming your own boss. That means you can set your own schedule, pick your clients and spend more time with the kids. I only wish that I had done it sooner.
